My daughter has a chronic condition which means she has various procedures at stressful times. She has just had her first in patient experience as an adult and the care and attention has been exemplary.

Very caring environment, every member of staff kind and attentive.
My only constructive criticism would be the lack of information during my wait to go to theatre. I arrived at 7.30am and went to theatre at 3pm, at no time did anyone give me any indication as to when I might be going. I fully accept that there is a schedule and emergencies may have to take precedence but it would have been helpful to know what was going on. Sitting in a curtained bay for 7 hours was rather stressful - just keep patients updated as much as possible.

I was treated very well from the moment I arrived for my operation from pre op to recovery Rosie and staff in recovery to all the staff on ward 203 everyone was excellent

Very nice, helpful and attentive staff. As with all hospitals, there was quite a lot of waiting about but was treated very efficiently. Happy to go there again if ever necessary.

From the A&E department, through to surgery with Dr Lakkol and his team and then onto ward 203 I was amazed at how kind and caring every member of staff was. This was my first visit to hospital and everybody went above and beyond to help me feel safe, reassured and cared for. The healthcare workers offered me dignity in my most vulnerable moments and the doctors were incredibly friendly and approachable. The physio team had me up and standing in no time at all. I remember feeling surprised at how clearly the doctors and physio's explanations were.
Sure, sometimes the staff were very busy and things didn't always go perfectly but my experience was very positive.

Informed about every part of treatment and received the very best treatment possible and I don't think I have ever met a nicer person than Mr lakkol who was very professional and also amazingly friendly .Also all the nursing staff who have made the stay very good
